The Sahara Early Childhood Intervention Workforce Development Hub is dedicated to transforming accountability by shifting the focus from traditional oversight to a relationship-centered model. The Sahara Approach is built on three essential pillars that drive a fundamental shift in systems thinking: Cooperative Compliance to foster collaborative growth over punitive monitoring; Relationship-Based Practice to resolve competing priorities by centering human connection; and Continuous Quality Improvement to replace top-down directives with a culture of ongoing reflection. Through these pillars, we design professional systems where accountability reinforces—rather than undermines—the conditions necessary for educators and practitioners to thrive.
